Description

These coffee doughnuts are a delicious pastry, ideal for the winter season. The recipe combines a simple dough with coffee and nuts, filled with a creamy coffee butter filling. Preparation takes about an hour and is suitable for festive occasions such as Christmas or New Year's Eve. Perfect as a sweet treat with coffee or tea.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 250 g Flour
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 130 g Butter
  • 2 Stück Eggs
  • 1 Kaffeel Instant coffee
  • 100 g Grated nuts
  • 1 Kaffeel Instant coffee (filling)
  • 50 g Butter (filling)
  • 100 g Sugar (filling)
  • 1 Van2 Vanilla sugar (filling)
  • 1 Stück Egg yolk (filling)
  • 50 g Nuts (filling)

Preparation (7 steps)

Mix flour and sugar

Put 250 g flour and 80 g sugar into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 4.

Add butter, eggs and coffee

Add 130 g butter, 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon of instant coffee and process into a dough for 2 min/kneading stage.

Fold in nuts

Fold 100 g grated nuts into the dough. Use the spatula and mix for 30 sec/reverse/speed 2.

Process dough and bake

Shape the dough into doughnuts and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for approx. 15-20 minutes.

Prepare filling

For the filling, put 1 teaspoon of instant coffee, 50 g butter, 100 g sugar and 1 vanilla sugar into the mixing bowl and stir until frothy for 2 min/speed 3.

Add egg yolk and nuts

Add 1 egg yolk and 50 g nuts and stir in for 30 sec/reverse/speed 2.

Fill doughnuts

Fill the cooled doughnuts with the filling.
