Description

This mince-potato-roll is a hearty main course that can be prepared well in advance. The potatoes and ground meat form a tasty combination. With the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2, the onions and garlic can be chopped quickly. The recipe is designed for 6 servings and is ideal for a hearty lunch or dinner.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 750 g Potatoes waxy, peeled, quartered
  • 500 g Water
  • 70 g Flour, Type 405
  • 10 g Starch
  • 2 Stück Egg yolk, size M
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • 2 Stück Onions, halved
  • 2 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 3 EL Parsley (frozen)
  • 500 g Minced meat, mixed
  • Flour for dusting
  • Oil for frying

Preparation (6 steps)

Cook potatoes

Thermomix® Setting

Put the peeled and quartered 750 g potatoes into the simmering basket. Fill 500 g water into the mixing bowl. Insert the simmering basket and cook the potatoes for 25 Min./Varoma/speed 1. Then remove the simmering basket with the spatula, set the potatoes aside and empty the mixing bowl.

Prepare mince filling

Put 2 onions, halved and 2 cloves of garlic into the mixing bowl. Attach the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2, select the fine disc and cut the onions and garlic into the mixing bowl. Then add 3 tbsp parsley (frozen) and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Push the pieces down with the spatula.

Mix minced meat

Add 500 g mixed minced meat and mix for 30 sec./kneading stage. Transfer the mixture to a separate bowl and clean the mixing bowl.

Prepare potato dough

Put the cooked potatoes, 70 g flour type 405, 10 g starch, 2 egg yolks (size M), salt, pepper and nutmeg as desired into the mixing bowl and stir for 30 sec./speed 6.

Form roll

Line a baking sheet with baking paper and sprinkle with a little flour. First spread the potato dough on the baking paper, then put the mince filling on the potato mass. Carefully form a roll using the baking paper.

Fry mince-potato-roll

Heat some oil in a pan. Cut the mince-potato-roll into slices about 2 cm thick and fry from each side until golden brown.
