Description

This juicy nut cake with cinnamon glaze, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a simple dessert for coffee gatherings and cake lovers. The main ingredients are hazelnuts, butter, sugar, eggs and flour. Preparation takes about 70 minutes, of which 20 minutes is active work time. The recipe yields 12 servings and is ideal for family meals or for treating yourself.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 150 g Hazelnuts
  • 200 g Butter, softened
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 4 Stück Eggs
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 Pck. Baking powder
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 100 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 TL Cinnamon
  • 2 EL Lemon juice

Preparation (7 steps)

Grind nuts

10 sec/Speed 10

Place 150 g of hazelnuts in the mixing bowl and grind for 10 sec/speed 10. Transfer.

Prepare dough

Place 200 g soft butter, 180 g sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 4 eggs in the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min/speed 4 until fluffy.

Mix ingredients

30 sec/Speed 4

Add 150 g ground hazelnuts, 200 g flour, 1 packet baking powder and 100 ml milk and mix for 30 sec/speed 4.

Bake

Pour the dough into a greased springform pan (26 cm diameter) and bake in a preheated oven at 175 °C top/bottom heat for approx. 50-60 minutes.

Prepare glaze

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 10

Place 100 g powdered sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon in the mixing bowl and pulverize for 10 sec/speed 10. Gradually add 2-3 tbsp lemon juice and mix for 15 sec/speed 3.

Mix glaze

15 sec/Speed 3

Gradually add 2-3 tbsp lemon juice and mix for 15 sec/speed 3.

Apply glaze

Let the cake cool and spread with the glaze.
