Description

This chocolate nut cake is a delicious baking recipe that can be easily prepared with the Thermomix®. The combination of chocolate, coffee and nuts makes it a special treat. The cake is ideal for birthdays or other festive occasions and can be prepared in about an hour. The recipe is designed for approximately 12 servings.

240 ml Sugar
240 ml Warm milk
120 ml Oil
120 ml Brewed coffee (filter coffee)
240 ml Cocoa powder
480 ml Wheat flour
1 EL Baking powder
200 g Walnuts

Preparation (5 steps)

Chop nuts

Thermomix® Setting

5 sec/Speed 5

Add 200g walnuts to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Stir in eggs, sugar, oil, milk and coffee

Add 3 eggs, 240ml sugar (1 cup), 120ml oil (1/2 cup), 240ml warm milk (1 cup) and 120ml brewed coffee (1/2 cup) to the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec./speed 4.
