Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 ounces smoked ham, diced
  • 4 piece green onions, chopped, white and green parts separated
  • 1 piece red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 0.5 cup finely diced celery
  • 1 piece fresh jalapeño chile pepper, finely diced
  • 2 clove garlic, minced (Optional)
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3.5 cups chicken broth, cold
  • 0.25 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pounds small raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pinch salt, or to taste
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste

Preparation (8 steps)

Melt the butter

Add 1 pound small raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, to the mixing bowl and cook for 3 Min./100°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Season with 1 pinch salt and 1 pinch cayenne pepper to taste. Garnish with green onion green parts. Serve immediately.
