Description
A delicious and cheesy party dip with beef and salsa.
Ingredients (8 ingredients)

400 g Ground beef

1 packet Taco seasoning or ground beef seasoning

250 g Cream cheese, soft
-
240 ml sour cream
-
240 ml Salsa
-
240 g shredded Mexican cheese (or Cheddar)

0.5 tsp Garlic powder (optional)

0.25 tsp black pepper
Preparation (10 steps)
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 190 °C (375 °F).
Brown ground beef
Brown ground beef in a separate pan over medium heat until browned. Drain off excess fat.
Add taco seasoning
Add 1 packet of taco seasoning to the browned ground beef in the pan and prepare according to package instructions (usually add some water and simmer).
Prepare creamy base
Place cream cheese, soft, sour cream, salsa, 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional) and 1/4 tsp black pepper in the mixing bowl and mix. Of course, this can also be done in a bowl.
Add ground beef
Add the seasoned ground beef from the pan to the creamy base in the mixing bowl.
Mix dip
Mix the ingredients in the mixing bowl for 15 sec/reverse rotation speed 2 to distribute the ground beef evenly in the creamy base.
Fill dip in baking dish
Pour the mixture from the mixing bowl into a baking dish and spread evenly.
Sprinkle cheese over it
Sprinkle shredded Mexican cheese (or Cheddar) evenly over the dip in the baking dish.
Bake
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese is completely melted.
Serve
Let the Texas Party Dip cool slightly and serve warm with tortilla chips.
