Description

This beef sauté with oyster sauce is a tasty and quick dish to prepare, perfect for a weekday dinner. The meat, marinated in soy sauce, sesame oil and rice wine, becomes incredibly tender and fragrant. I love the slightly sweet and umami touch of the oyster sauce that coats each piece of beef. Served with fresh green onions, this dish is a real Asian delight. It is ideal to accompany white rice or fried noodles. A real treat for the taste buds!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 500 g of beef
  • 4 c. à s. of oyster sauce
  • 1 piece green onion or Welsh onion
  • 1 c. à s. of cornstarch
  • 1 c. à s. of Shaoxing rice wine
  • 1 c. à s. of soy sauce
  • 2 c. à c. of sesame oil

Preparation (6 steps)

Preparation of the marinade

In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine and cornstarch. Add the beef strips and mix well to coat the meat. Cover with cling film and marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Slice the green onion

Finely slice the green onion, separating the white and half of the green stems. Set aside.

Cooking the beef

In a pan, heat the oil. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2 minutes over high heat, stirring constantly. Remove the beef from the pan with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Preparation of the sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Wipe the pan. Add the oyster sauce and heat for 1 Min./100°C/Stufe 1 until it starts to simmer.

Finalization of the dish

Return the beef to the pan with the oyster sauce. Mix and cook for 2 minutes over high heat, stirring constantly. 2 Min./100°C/Stufe 1
