Description

This delicious chicken pan in honey-mustard sauce is a quick and easy main course prepared with the Thermomix®. First, the onions are cut with the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2 and then processed with cream, mustard and honey into a creamy sauce. The fried chicken pieces are cooked in the sauce. Served with rice, this dish is ideal for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 400 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 EL Butter
  • 250 ml Cream
  • 2 TL Mustard
  • 2 TL Honey
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 150 g Rice

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare onion

Peel and halve 1 onion. Place the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid. Insert the fine slice. Pass the halved onions through the slicer and catch the cut material.

Sauté onions

Add the sliced onions together with 1 tbsp butter into the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Prepare sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Add 250 ml cream, 2 tsp mustard and 2 tsp honey to the onions in the mixing bowl and stir for 5 min./90°C/level 2.

Season sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste and simmer for another 2 min./90°C/level 2.

Fry chicken

Fry 400 g chicken breast fillet in a separate pan with some oil until cooked.

Add chicken

3-4 min/194°F/Gentle stir speed 194°F Reverse

Add the fried chicken pieces to the sauce in the mixing bowl and let it steep for 3-4 min./90°C/gentle stir setting.

Serve

Serve the chicken pan with 150 g rice (as a side dish).
