Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 250 g baby potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 piece leek
  • 1 clove garlic clove
  • 70 ml double cream
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 1 tbsp chives
  • 2 piece skinless salmon fillets
  • mixed rocket salad

Preheat oven and cook potatoes

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place 250g baby potatoes in the mixing bowl and add water until the potatoes are covered. Cook for 8 Min./100°C/Stufe 1. Drain the potatoes in a colander and leave to steam-dry for a few minutes. Toss the potatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil and seasoning in a baking tray. Put in the oven for 20 mins, tossing halfway through the cooking time.

Prepare leek and garlic

Thermomix® Setting

Add 1 leek, cut into pieces, and 1 garlic clove to the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 Sec./Stufe 5. Use the spatula to scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.

Sauté leek and garlic

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add 1 tbsp olive oil to the mixing bowl with the leek and garlic. Sauté for 5 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Make creamy leek sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Add 70ml double cream, 1 tbsp capers, and 75ml hot water to the mixing bowl. Cook for 5 Min./90°C/Stufe 2. Stir through 1 tbsp chives.

Assemble and grill

Pour the creamy leek mixture over the potatoes in the baking tray, then sit 2 skinless salmon fillets on top. Heat the grill to high. Grill for 7-8 mins, or until just cooked through. Serve topped with extra chives and capers and a salad on the side, if you like.
