Description

This lemon and dill marinated salmon is a recipe I have been making for years and it is always a success. The combination of fresh salmon with the citrus touch of lemon and the fresh aroma of dill is simply delicious. It is perfect as an elegant starter for a special dinner or as part of a festive brunch. The preparation is very simple, although it requires a marinating time of at least 12 hours for the salmon to absorb all the flavors. Dare to try it, you will love it! In addition, it is a healthy and protein-rich option, ideal for any occasion. You can serve it with toast or crackers.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 400 gramos Fresh salmon
  • 200 gramos Salt
  • 200 gramos Sugar
  • 2 piezas Lemon
  • 0.5 cup Chopped dill
  • 20 mililitros Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation (4 steps)

Mix the dry ingredients

In the Thermomix bowl, add 200 g of salt, 200 g of sugar and 1 pinch of pepper. Mix for 10 sec./Speed 4 to integrate all the ingredients.

Season the salmon

Spread the mixture of salt, sugar and pepper over the 400 g of fresh salmon, making sure to cover it completely. Sprinkle ½ cup of chopped dill on top. Place the salmon in a container, cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.

Wash and dry the salmon

After 12 hours, remove the salmon from the refrigerator and wash it well under cold water to completely remove the salt and sugar mixture. Dry carefully with paper towels.

Cut and serve

Cut the salmon into thin strips or slices. Place on a plate, drizzle with 20 ml of olive oil and lemon juice to taste. Serve cold.
