Description

This sautéed rice with ham and peas is a simple and tasty dish, perfect for using leftover rice. I often prepare it when I have little time but want something delicious. Cooked ham adds a touch of flavor, while peas add a little sweetness. Soy sauce enhances all the flavors and fresh chives complete the dish with an aromatic note. Ideal for a quick lunch or an informal dinner, this sautéed rice is a real comfort food!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 300 g already cooked rice
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • 100 g boiled peas
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 0.5 piece leeks
  • 1 piece carrots
  • seed oil
  • soy sauce
  • chives

Preparation (7 steps)

Julienned carrots

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 4

Peel and trim the carrots. Insert the carrots into the bowl and cut into julienne for 3 Sec./Stufe 4.

Leek into rounds

Slice the leek into thin rounds and set aside.

Ham in cubes

Cut the cooked ham into cubes and set aside.

Scrambled eggs

In a bowl, beat the eggs with a little soy sauce. Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan, pour in the eggs and scramble them briefly, stirring with a spatula. Remove the eggs and set aside.

Sauté the vegetables

5 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

In the same pan, add a drizzle of oil. Add the peas, carrots, leek and diced ham. Sauté the vegetables for 5 Min./120°C/Stufe 1, keeping them crunchy.

Sautéed rice

5 min/248°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 120 Reverse

Add the already cooked rice and scrambled eggs to the bowl. Mix gently with the spatula and sauté again over the heat for 5 Min./120°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Serve

Plate and complete with chopped chives and soy sauce to taste.
