Description

This savory ground meat and vegetable soup is a quick and easy dish for everyday life. I like to make it when I need something quick and the fridge doesn't offer much. The recipe is super variable - depending on what's available, you can exchange or supplement the vegetables. The combination of ground meat, lettuce, mushrooms and mandarin oranges may sound unusual, but it creates a surprisingly delicious taste. A dollop of cream makes the soup nice and creamy. Perfect for cold days or just when you feel like something hearty. If you like it spicier, feel free to add some more Sambal Oelek.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 700 g Ground meat
  • 1 Glas Lettuce
  • 2 can Mushrooms drained
  • 3 can Mandarin oranges not drained
  • 0.5 Flasche Ketchup
  • 1 container Cream
  • 1 Pck. Processed cheese
  • 500 ml Broth
  • 1 etwas Sambal Oelek

Preparation (3 steps)

Brown ground meat

Brown 700 g of ground meat in a pan until it is crumbly and cooked through. Set the browned ground meat aside.

Add ingredients and bring to a boil

10 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Add the browned ground meat together with 1 jar of lettuce, 2 cans of drained mushrooms, 3 cans of mandarin oranges (with juice), 0.5 bottle of ketchup, 1 carton of cream, 1 package of processed cheese and 500 ml of broth to the mixing bowl. Bring to a boil for 10 Min./100°C/level 2.

Season the soup with some Sambal Oelek and heat for another 2 Min./90°C/level 1.
