Description
This apple crumble cake is a real treat, especially when the apples come from your own garden! The combination of juicy, slightly tart apples and crunchy crumbles is simply unbeatable. I especially like to bake it in the fall when the apple harvest is plentiful. It is quick to prepare and tastes good both warm and cold. A dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream - perfect! Also ideal if visitors announce themselves spontaneously. And best of all: it's vegetarian and can be varied wonderfully, for example with other fruits such as pears or plums.

1 tsp Cinnamon and Sugar

150 g Butter - cold

120 g Flour

120 g Oat flakes

80 g Sugar
Preparation (6 steps)
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 200°C top and bottom heat.
Prepare apples
Peel, core and chop 6 apples into small pieces.
Season apple pieces
Place the apple pieces in a baking dish and mix with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and sugar.
Prepare crumbles
Put 150g cold butter in pieces, 120g flour, 120g oat flakes and 80g sugar into the mixing bowl and process into crumbles for 20 sec./level 4.
Spread crumbles
Spread the crumbles evenly over the apple pieces in the baking dish.
Bake apple crumble
Bake the apple crumble in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the crumbles are golden brown and crispy.
