Description

These small chocolate shamrocks are a real eye-catcher and taste simply delicious! I like to make them for special occasions such as Easter or birthdays. The combination of dark chocolate and the fine lavender aroma is simply unbeatable. The chopped cashew kernels provide an additional crunch. The preparation is super easy and quick. A great recipe to please friends and family. If you like, you can decorate the shamrocks with some gold dust - that makes them something very special!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 50 g Cashew kernels
  • 1 tsp Cashew kernels
  • 200 g Dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp dried lavender flowers
  • Gold dust

Preparation (5 steps)

Chop cashew kernels

Thermomix® Setting

Add 50 g of cashew kernels to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Melt chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
4 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Roughly chop 200 g of dark chocolate and add to the mixing bowl. Melt for 4 min./50°C/speed 2.

Shape shamrocks

Using a shamrock cutter (approx. 7 cm), draw 6 shamrocks on baking paper, turn the paper over. Fill about 1/3 of the melted chocolate into a piping bag, trace the edges of the shamrocks. Fill the leaves with the remaining chocolate.

Decorate and cool

Sprinkle the chocolate shamrocks with 1 tsp of dried lavender flowers and the chopped cashew kernels. Refrigerate until the chocolate has set.

Serve

Carefully remove the set chocolate shamrocks from the baking paper and dust with gold dust if desired.
