Description

This chocolate yoghurt cake is a moist and flavorful cake that is easy to prepare. It is particularly easy to make with the Thermomix®. The combination of chocolate and yoghurt makes it a delicious dessert for any occasion. It is ideal for coffee parties or as a sweet surprise for a birthday.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 125 g Natural yoghurt
  • 100 ml Vegetable oil
  • 250 g Flour
  • 40 g Baking cocoa
  • 16 g Baking powder
  • 1 Prise Salt

Preparation (8 steps)

Beat eggs and sugar

Add 3 eggs (room temperature) and 180 g sugar to the mixing bowl and beat for 3 min/speed 4 until the mixture is light and frothy.

Add yoghurt

20 sec/Speed 3

Add 125 g natural yoghurt (or vanilla yoghurt) to the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec/speed 3.

Pour in oil

Slowly pour 100 ml vegetable oil (e.g. sunflower oil) into the mixing bowl with the knife running (30 sec/speed 2).

Mix dry ingredients

Mix and sieve 250 g flour (Type 405/00), 40 g baking cocoa (unsweetened), 1 packet baking powder (16 g) and 1 pinch of salt in a separate bowl.

Fold in dry ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl and stir in for 30 sec/speed 3/reverse. If necessary, use the spatula to push down from the edge.

Prepare mold and pour in dough

Grease and flour a bundt cake or ring mold (24 cm). Pour the dough into the prepared mold.

Bake

Bake the dough in the mold in a preheated static oven at 170°C for 40–45 minutes.

Completion

Let the cake cool, then turn it out of the mold and sprinkle with icing sugar.
