Description

These chocolate giant cookies from the Thermomix® are a simple dessert with margarine, brown sugar, egg, flour and baking cocoa. Preparation takes about 42 minutes and yields 8 servings. Ideal for chocolate lovers and suitable as Christmas finger food. Perfect for the winter season and as a sweet treat for the whole family.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 125 g Margarine
  • 100 g Brown sugar
  • 1 Stück Egg (size M)
  • 150 g Flour
  • 25 g Baking cocoa (cocoa powder, lightly de-oiled, unsweetened)
  • 100 g Dark chocolate
  • 50 g Cooking Cremefine 15% fat
  • Sweets
  • Baking paper

Preparation (8 steps)

Preheat oven and prepare springform pan

Preheat the oven to 200 °C (convection: 180 °C). Line the springform pan with baking paper. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.

Cream margarine, sugar and egg

Put 125 g margarine, 100 g brown sugar and 1 egg into the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min/speed 4 until creamy.

Stir in flour and cocoa

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 150 g flour and 25 g baking cocoa to the mixing bowl and stir in for 20 sec/speed 3 until a smooth dough forms. Scrape down from the edge with the spatula and stir for another 5 sec/speed 3 if necessary.

Chop and fold in chocolate

Coarsely chop 100 g dark chocolate. Transfer the dough from the mixing bowl to a bowl and mix the chopped chocolate into the dough with a spoon. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.

Put the dough in the springform pan and bake

Pour the dough into the prepared springform pan and spread with a spoon, leaving a gap of approx. 2 cm to the edge of the pan. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 22 minutes. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.

Let the cookie cool

Let the giant cookie cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then on a rack. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.

Prepare chocolate icing

3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Break 50 g of chocolate into pieces and put it in the mixing bowl together with 50 g of cooking Cremefine. Melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 2.

Decorate the cookie

Spread the icing over the cooled giant cookie. Decorate the cookie with sweets to taste and let the icing harden. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.
