Description

These Black Forest cherry cookies from the Thermomix® are a festive finger food with an intense cherry flavor. The main ingredients are flour, cocoa, butter, icing sugar and Black Forest cherry brandy paste. The preparation takes a total of 180 minutes, with an active working time of around 60 minutes. The recipe is ideal for Christmas baking and special occasions.

  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 EL Cocoa
  • 100 g Icing sugar
  • 2 Stück Egg yolk
  • 1 EL Black Forest cherry brandy paste
  • 150 g Butter
  • 150 g White chocolate
  • 150 g Butter
  • Cherry jam

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Add flour, cocoa, icing sugar, egg yolk, Black Forest cherry brandy paste and butter to the mixing bowl and process into a dough for 2 min./speed 4.

Chill dough

Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Cut out and bake cookies

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and cut out circles and circles with holes. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees top/bottom heat for 10 minutes.

Melt chocolate

Thermomix® Setting

Place the white chocolate in pieces in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 2.

Cool chocolate

Remove the melted chocolate from the mixing bowl and let it cool.

Prepare cream

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 3

Add butter to the mixing bowl and beat until fluffy for 2 min./speed 3. Add the cooled chocolate and Black Forest cherry brandy paste and stir for 30 sec./speed 3.

Assemble cookies

Pipe a ring of cream onto the unperforated circles and place a circle with a hole on top. Pipe thin lines with white chocolate and fill the holes with cherry jam.
