Description

This seafood and artichoke paella is a traditional Spanish dish that is always a hit at home. The combination of rice with the flavor of fresh seafood and seasonal artichokes is simply delicious. It is perfect for a family meal or a special celebration. The recipe is quite simple to prepare with the Thermomix®, which makes it even more accessible.   • 200 gr round rice
  • 1 litro fish stock
  • 300 gr seafood paella mix
  • 2 piece garlics
  • 0.5 piece green pepper
  • 0.5 piece leek
  • 4 piece artichokes
  • to taste salt
  • oil
  • food coloring

Preparation of ingredients

Prepare all the ingredients: weigh the rice, measure the fish stock, have the seafood paella mix ready, peel the garlics, cut the green pepper, the leek and clean and chop the artichokes.

Chop garlics and pepper

Put the peeled garlics in the Thermomix bowl and chop for 3 Sec./Stufe 7. Lower the remains from the walls of the bowl with the spatula.

Add the chopped green pepper and a little oil and salt to the bowl. Sauté for 5 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add and sauté artichokes

Add the chopped artichoke hearts to the bowl and sauté for 5 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add the chopped leek to the bowl and sauté for 2 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add stock and seafood

Add the fish stock and the seafood paella mix to the bowl. Cook for 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Add salt and coloring

Thermomix® Setting

Correct the salt and add a pinch of food coloring to the bowl. Mix for 5 Seg./Stufe 2.

Add the rice

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 1/Giro a la izquierda 100 Reverse

Add the rice to the bowl and program 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Left turn. Then, program 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Left turn.

Let the paella rest covered inside the Thermomix for 5 minutes before serving.
