Description

This hearty liver cheese plate with fried egg is a protein-rich main course that is quickly prepared in the Thermomix®. The main ingredients are liver cheese, eggs and onions, refined with chives. In just 20 minutes, 2 servings are created. Ideal for student cuisine or as a quick, satisfying meal.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 2 Stück Onions
  • 5 Stiele Chives
  • 1 EL Clarified butter
  • 2 Scheiben Liver cheese
  • 150 g Liver cheese
  • 2 Stück Eggs
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare onions

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Halve 2 onions and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Push down with the spatula.

Sauté onions

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add 1 tbsp clarified butter to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 5 min./120°C/speed 1. Then remove the onions from the mixing bowl and set aside.

Prepare chives

Cut 5 sprigs of chives into rings and set aside.

Fry liver cheese

Fry 2 slices of liver cheese (150 g each) in a pan with the remaining frying fat from the onions for 2-3 minutes on each side. Then place on 2 plates.

Fry fried eggs

Crack 2 eggs (size M) into the same pan and fry over medium heat for about 3 minutes.

Arrange and serve

Top the fried liver cheese slices with the fried eggs and the sautéed onions. Sprinkle with chives and serve immediately. Season with salt and pepper.
