Description

This Pavesana Soup is a comforting and traditional dish from Italian cuisine, perfect for cold days. The combination of hot meat broth, crusty bread, poached eggs, and grated Parmesan cheese creates a delicious and nutritious experience. It is a simple dish to prepare, ideal for a quick but tasty meal. I often prepare it in winter, and my family loves it. It can be served hot or at room temperature, it is delicious in both ways! Also, it is an excellent way to take advantage of the baguette bread from the previous day. Go ahead and try it!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 1 litro meat broth
  • 8 rodajas baguette bread
  • 8 piece eggs
  • 4 cucharadas soperas Grated Parmesan
  • 80 gramos butter with salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Toast the bread

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/122°F/Velocidad 2 50

Place the butter in the Thermomix bowl and melt for 2 Min./50°C/Speed 2. Pour the melted butter into a frying pan. Toast the baguette bread slices in the pan until golden brown on both sides. Set aside.

Prepare the casseroles

Distribute the toasted bread slices in 4 individual casseroles (2 slices per casserole). Break 2 eggs in each casserole, being careful not to break the yolk.

Add the Parmesan cheese

Sprinkle a tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese over each casserole.

Heat the broth

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Velocidad 1 100

Pour the meat broth into the Thermomix bowl and heat for 5 Min./100°C/Speed 1.

Serve the soup

Pour the hot broth into the casseroles, distributing it equally among the 4. Serve immediately.
