Description
This steamed white rice is a simple and delicious side dish that I often prepare with my Thermomix®. The key is in the water ratio and the cooking time, which I adjust to obtain a loose and tender grain. It is perfect to accompany meat, fish or vegetable dishes, and it is also ideal for preparing rice salads. Sometimes I add a little saffron or bay leaf to give it a special touch. It is a staple in my kitchen!
Ingredients (4 ingredients)

200 gramos Rice

350 mililitros Water
-
0.5 cucharadita Salt
-
2 cucharadas soperas Oil
Preparation (3 steps)
Heat the water
Add 350 ml of water and ½ teaspoon of salt to the Thermomix glass. Program 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.
Add the rice
Add 200 grams of rice to the glass. Program 15 Min./100°C/Stufe 2/Linkslauf.
Add the oil and let rest
Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the glass. Let the rice rest inside the Thermomix for 5 minutes without temperature or speed.
