Description

These stuffed turkey cutlets are a real treat! Tender turkey, hearty Parma ham and spicy Parmesan - a combination that always works. I like to make them when I need to be quick, but still want something special on the table. The preparation is super easy and the result tastes simply delicious. Perfect for a quick lunch or a light dinner. If you like, you can add some fresh sage. An absolute favorite recipe!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 3 Zweig Basil
  • 40 g Parmesan Cheese
  • 8 piece thin Turkey Cutlets
  • 4 slice Parma Ham
  • 2 tbsp ground Pepper

Preparation (5 steps)

Grate Parmesan

Put 40 g Parmesan in pieces into the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec./speed 8. Transfer and set aside.

Chop basil

Rinse 3 sprigs of basil, pat dry, pluck off the leaves and put them in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Fill cutlets

Dab 8 thin turkey cutlets (approx. 50 g each) with kitchen paper. Place half of the cutlets next to each other. Place a slice of Parma ham, a quarter of the grated Parmesan and some basil leaves on top and cover with the remaining cutlets.

Fix and season cutlets

Stick the overlapping cutlets together on the long sides with two shashlik skewers. Sprinkle the cutlets with 2 tbsp of ground pepper and brush thinly with oil on both sides.

Fry cutlets

Fry the cutlets in a pan over a gentle heat for about three minutes on each side.
