Description

This potato casserole is a true classic and super easy to prepare with the Thermomix®! I often make it when things need to be quick and everyone needs to be full. The potatoes and onions are sliced very thinly and covered with a creamy sauce. The cheese provides a delicious crust. It tastes especially good in autumn and winter when you need something hearty. You can vary it well with different types of cheese or some bacon for a heartier version. An absolute comfort food!

Pour over sauce

Pour the sauce evenly over the potatoes. The potatoes should be completely covered with liquid.

Finish and bake casserole

Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over it, place a few flakes of butter on top. Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven (200°C) and bake for 50-60 minutes. If the casserole gets too brown, cover with aluminum foil.
