Description
This simple Sunken Apple Cake from the Thermomix® is a moist cake classic with apples, eggs and flour. Ideal for autumn coffee time or as a dessert. Preparation takes about 60 minutes, of which 20 minutes are active work. The recipe is designed for one cake.
Ingredients (10 ingredients)

125 g Margarine

125 g Sugar

2 Stück Eggs

1 Päckchen Vanilla sugar

250 g Flour
-
2 TL Baking powder
-
18 EL Milk
-
500 g Apples
-
1 Stück Lemon (juice)

1 nach Bedarf Icing sugar
Preparation (6 steps)
Prepare apples
Peel the apples, halve them and remove the core. Score the rounded side several times and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Prepare dough
Put margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./level 4 until creamy.
Add flour and baking powder
Add flour and baking powder and stir in for 1 min./level 3. Gradually add milk and stir for a further 30 sec./level 3 until a smooth dough is formed.
Pour dough into pan and place apples on top
Pour the dough into a greased springform pan and spread the prepared apple halves on top in a circle.
Baking
Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 30-40 minutes.
Serve
Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
