Description
This apple sheet cake, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a simple classic cake with apples, flour, butter, sugar, and eggs. The recipe yields 12 servings and is ready in about 90 minutes, with an active work time of 30 minutes. Ideal for an autumn coffee break or as a family meal. A moist cake for apple pie lovers.

125 g Butter, in pieces, plus some for greasing

200 g Wheat flour Type 405

1 TL Homemade vanilla sugar

750 g Apples, in pieces

200 g Cream

200 g Sour cream

40 g Sugar

1 Pck. Vanilla pudding powder

50 g Almond flakes

Preparation (7 steps)
Preheat oven and prepare springform pan
Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat. Grease a springform pan (Ø 26cm).
Prepare dough
Put 125 g butter in pieces, 200 g wheat flour Type 405, 125 g sugar, 3 eggs, 2 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp homemade vanilla sugar into the mixing bowl and mix for 30 sec/speed 5.
Pour dough into springform pan
Pour the dough into the prepared springform pan and smooth it out. Rinse the mixing bowl.
Chop apples
Put 750 g apples in pieces into the mixing bowl and chop for 3-4 sec/speed 6 with the help of the spatula.
Spread apples on the dough
Spread the chopped apples on the dough.
Prepare topping
Put 200 g cream, 200 g sour cream, 40 g sugar, 1 pack vanilla pudding powder and 1 tsp cinnamon into the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/speed 4.
Spread topping and bake
Spread the topping on the apples. Sprinkle 50 g of almond flakes over it and bake for 55-60 min. Remove and serve garnished with powdered sugar.
