Description
The Sachertorte is a classic chocolate cake from Austria. This recipe for the Thermomix® enables easy preparation. The cake consists of a fluffy chocolate dough, which is filled with jam and covered with chocolate glaze. Ideal for festive occasions or as a sweet treat with coffee.
Ingredients (7 ingredients)

240 g Butter

240 g Sugar

2 Pkg. Vanilla sugar

240 g Melted chocolate

8 piece Eggs

240 g Flour

1 Pkg. Baking powder
Preparation (5 steps)
Mix butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and chocolate
Add 240g butter, 240g sugar, 2 packets vanilla sugar, 240g melted chocolate and 8 eggs to the mixing bowl and mix for 3 min./speed 4.
Whisk egg whites
Whisk egg whites with the butterfly for 3 min./speed 3.5.
Fold in flour and baking powder
Add 240g flour and 1 packet baking powder and fold in for 1 min./speed 2.
Pour dough into tin and bake
Pour the dough into a greased and floured cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (convection) for about 60 minutes.
Finish cake
Spread the cooled cake with jam and coat with chocolate glaze.
