Description
This apple cake from the Thermomix® is a moist classic with apples, butter, flour, sugar and eggs. The recipe for the cake is ideal for preparation with the Thermomix®. In about 65 minutes, a cake for 12 servings is created. Perfect as a dessert, with coffee or for a cozy family breakfast in the fall.

125 g Butter, in pieces, plus some for greasing

200 g Wheat flour Type 405

125 g Sugar

2 TL Baking powder

1 TL Homemade vanilla sugar

1000 g Apples, in pieces

250 g Cream

200 g Sour cream

40 g Sugar

1 Pck. Vanilla pudding powder

1 TL Cinnamon

50 g Almond flakes
Preparation (7 steps)
Preheat oven and prepare springform pan
Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat. Grease a springform pan (Ø 26 cm).
Prepare the dough
Place 125 g butter in pieces, 200 g wheat flour Type 405, 125 g sugar, 3 eggs, 2 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp homemade vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl and mix for 30 sec/speed 4.
Pour the dough into the springform pan
Pour the dough into the prepared springform pan and smooth it out.
Chop the apples
Place 1000 g apples in pieces in the mixing bowl and chop for 4 sec/speed 4.5.
Prepare the topping
Distribute the chopped apples on the dough. Place 250 g cream, 200 g sour cream, 40 g sugar, 1 packet vanilla pudding powder and 1 tsp cinnamon in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/speed 4.
Spread the topping on the cake
Spread the topping on the apples and sprinkle 50 g almond flakes over it.
Bake apple cake
Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes. Remove and serve cut into pieces.
