Description

A quick and easy recipe for creamy mushrooms in garlic sauce, perfect with pasta, rice or as a side dish.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 500 g brown Mushrooms (whole or halved)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 piece Garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 50 g Freshly grated Parmesan
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 pinch Chili flakes (optional)

Preparation (5 steps)

Sauté Mushrooms

Thermomix® Setting
5-6 min/248°F/Speed 1 248°F

Add 2 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp olive oil to the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./120°C/speed 1. Add 500 g brown Mushrooms (whole or halved) and sauté for 5-6 min./120°C/speed 1 without a measuring cup until golden brown on all sides.

Sauté Garlic

Add 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped, to the Mushrooms and sauté for 1 min./120°C/speed 1.

Deglaze and simmer

Add 100 ml vegetable broth and simmer briefly. Add 200 ml cream and 50 g freshly grated Parmesan and stir in for 3 min./90°C/speed 1.

Thicken and season sauce

Let the sauce thicken slightly. Season with salt, pepper and 1 pinch of chili flakes (optional) and stir in for 2 min./90°C/speed 1.

Add Parsley and serve

Add fresh Parsley, chopped, and stir in for 1 min./90°C/speed 1. Serve immediately – perfect with pasta, rice or as a side dish.
