Description

This Egg White Chocolate Cake is a festive cake refined with hazelnuts and Amaretto. The preparation is simple with the Thermomix®, which optimally mixes the ingredients. The cake is baked at 180°C and is ideal as a dessert or for special occasions.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 100 gr Butter
  • 8 Stück Egg white
  • 140 gr Sugar
  • 200 gem Hazelnuts
  • Amaretto
  • 1 Stück Bitter almond
  • 2 TI Baking powder

Preparation (6 steps)

Melt butter

Add 100 g butter to the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 1.

Beat egg whites with sugar

Add 8 egg whites and 140 g sugar to the mixing bowl. Insert the butterfly and beat for 4 min./speed 4.

Remove butterfly

Remove the butterfly from the mixing bowl.

Chop nuts

Add 200 g hazelnuts to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5.

Mix remaining ingredients

Add the melted butter, chopped hazelnuts, Amaretto, 1 bitter almond and 2 tsp baking powder to the egg white-sugar mixture in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 3.

Bake

Pour the dough into a suitable baking pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for 60 minutes.
