Description

This yogurt cake is a revisited classic for an incredibly soft texture and delicate taste. I often prepare it for the children's snack or to accompany a coffee with friends. Its simplicity is deceptive, because it is always a success! The key lies in using the yogurt pot as a measure, which makes it very easy to make. It is perfect for beginners in pastry and can be personalized with lemon zest or chocolate chips. A real delight to share on any occasion!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • Sugar
  • 0.5 container Oil
  • 1.5 container Cornstarch
  • 1.5 container Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 container Plain yogurt
  • 3 piece Eggs

Preparation (5 steps)

Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 180°C (th.6).

Mix the eggs, baking powder and yogurt

20 sec/Speed 4

In the Thermomix bowl, add 3 whole eggs, 1 sachet of baking powder and 1 plain yogurt. Mix 20 Sek./Stufe 4.

Add the flour, cornstarch, sugar and oil

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 5

Using the empty yogurt pot, add 1 pot and 1/2 pot of wheat flour, 1 pot and 1/2 pot of cornstarch, 2 pots of sugar and 1/2 pot of oil in the Thermomix bowl. Mix 30 Sek./Stufe 5.

Mix until a smooth dough is obtained

Thermomix® Setting
15 sec/Speed 4

Mix again 15 Sek./Stufe 4 until a smooth dough is obtained. Use the spatula to scrape the edges if necessary.

Bake in the oven

Pour the batter into a previously buttered and floured cake tin. Bake for 30 minutes in the oven at 180°C (th.6).
