Description

A delicious nut cake, perfect for birthdays or festive occasions.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 300 g Flour
  • 0.5 TL Baking powder
  • 40 g Icing sugar
  • 1 Stück Vanilla sugar
  • 150 g Butter
  • 3 Stück Egg yolks
  • 3 Stück Egg whites
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 180 g Ground nuts
  • 250 g Powidl (plum jam)

Preparation (10 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Put flour, baking powder, icing sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and egg yolks in the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading setting to form a dough. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Whisk egg whites

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/Speed 3.5

Put egg whites and sugar in the mixing bowl. Insert butterfly and whisk for 3 min./speed 3.5 until stiff.

Fold in nuts

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Linkslauf/Speed 2 Reverse

Add ground nuts to the beaten egg whites and stir in for 10 sec./reverse/speed 2. Remove butterfly.

Divide dough

Divide the dough into 3 parts.

Prepare mold

Roll out the first part of the dough as a base for the mold and place in the mold.

Spread Powidl

Spread approx. 250g Powidl (plum jam) on the dough base.

Place second dough on top

Roll out the second part of the dough and place on top.

Spread nut mixture

Spread the nut mixture on top.

Grate third dough

Grate the third part of the dough coarsely over the nut mixture.

Baking

Bake the cake at 180°C for approx. 30 minutes.
