Description

These traditional crêpes are a true delight, perfect for a Sunday brunch or a gourmet dessert. The recipe is simple and quick to make with the Thermomix®, and the result is always impeccable. I particularly like to add a pinch of vanilla powder to enhance the flavor. The dough must rest for at least an hour, which allows to obtain light and fluffy crêpes. They are ideal to be garnished with jam, melted chocolate or fresh fruits. A real treat for the whole family! They can also be prepared in advance and reheated slightly before serving. A timeless classic!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 2 tbsp of oil
  • 1 pinch Vanilla in powder
  • 50 g of icing sugar or granulated sugar
  • 4 piece eggs
  • 1 l of milk
  • 500 g of flour

Preparation of dry ingredients

500 g of flour and 50 g of icing sugar or granulated sugar are placed in the Thermomix bowl.

Mixing the ingredients

Add 4 eggs, 2 tbsp of oil and 1 l of milk into the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 30 Sek./Stufe 4.

Adding the vanilla

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add a pinch of vanilla in powder and mix for 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Resting the batter

Pour the batter into a container and let rest for at least 1 hour at room temperature.

Cooking the crêpes

Heat a crêpe maker or a lightly oiled frying pan. Pour a ladle of batter and cook each crêpe for about 1 to 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
