Description

I love making dips and creams myself, especially when things need to be quick! This mint yogurt dip is super refreshing and goes perfectly with vegetable sticks or as a side dish for grilling. The feta walnut cream is a little more savory and the walnuts give it a great crunch. Both dips are prepared in no time in the Thermomix® and taste simply delicious. Ideal for any party or as a delicious snack in between. The mint gives it a special touch and makes the dip a real highlight. Be sure to try it!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 4 Stiele fresh mint
  • 500 g Greek cream yogurt
  • 200 g creamy whole milk yogurt
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 50 g Walnut kernels
  • 200 g Feta cheese
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 50 ml Olive oil

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare mint

Wash 4-5 sprigs of fresh mint, shake dry and pluck the leaves. Set the mint leaves aside.

Chop mint

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 8

Put the plucked mint leaves into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 8. Scrape down the sides with the spatula.

Prepare mint yogurt

Thermomix® Setting
15 sec/Speed 3

Add 250 g Greek cream yogurt, 200 g creamy whole milk yogurt, the chopped mint (except for some for sprinkling), salt and pepper to the mixing bowl and stir for 15 sec./speed 3.

Arrange mint yogurt

Arrange the mint yogurt in a bowl and sprinkle with the remaining mint strips.

Chop walnuts

Thermomix® Setting
4 sec/Speed 5

Put 50-60 g walnut kernels, except for a few for garnish, in the mixing bowl and chop for 4 sec./speed 5. Transfer.

Prepare feta cream

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Crumble 200 g feta cheese and add to the mixing bowl with 250 g Greek cream yogurt and 125-150 ml milk. Stir for 20 sec./speed 4.

Fold in walnuts

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Linkslauf/Speed 2 Reverse

Fold the chopped walnuts into the feta cream and season with pepper. Stir in for 10 sec./reverse/speed 2.

Arrange feta walnut cream

Place the feta walnut cream on a plate, drizzle with approx. 50 ml olive oil and sprinkle with the remaining walnut kernels. Refrigerate until serving.
