Description

This sausage salad is a real classic that is quick to prepare and always well received! I especially like to make it when things need to be quick or I'm expecting guests. The combination of spicy sausage, crunchy pickled gherkins and a creamy sauce is simply unbeatable. The cucumber water adds a special touch and the fresh herbs make the salad a real taste experience. Perfect for a hearty dinner, as a side dish for grilling or simply as a snack in between. If you like, you can add some chopped onion.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

600 g Sausage
200 g Pickled gherkins
200 g Mayonnaise
100 g Plain yogurt
2 Prisen Salt
2 Prisen Pepper
40 ml Cucumber water
4 tbsp Chopped herbs

Preparation (3 steps)

Prepare sausage and gherkins

Cut 600g sausage into 1 cm thick slices and then into thin strips. Also cut 200g pickled gherkins into thin strips. Set the prepared ingredients aside.

Prepare dressing

Thermomix® Setting

Put 200g mayonnaise, 100g plain yogurt, 2 pinches of salt, 2 pinches of pepper and 40ml cucumber water into the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./level 3.

Mix salad

Put the sliced sausage and cucumber strips as well as 4 tbsp of chopped herbs (e.g. chives and parsley) in a bowl. Add the dressing from the mixing bowl and mix everything carefully.
