Description

This recipe for potato pancakes or rösti is a hearty dish that is great as finger food, appetizer or main course. The preparation is simple and inexpensive, ideal for using leftovers. The potatoes are grated with the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2 and then mixed with onions and spices. The pancakes are baked in the pan until golden brown.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

500 g Potatoes (firm cooking)
1 Stück Onion
1 Stück Cooked, mashed potato (large)
Salt
Pepper
Nutmeg
Olive oil

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Peel 500g potatoes and add to the mixing bowl with the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2 and the coarse disc. Place the slicer on the mixing bowl lid and grate the potatoes directly into the mixing bowl. Catch the shredded material.

Chop onion

Put 1 onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5.

Squeeze potatoes

Squeeze the grated potatoes well in a kitchen towel so that they become nice and dry.

Mix mass

Put the squeezed potatoes together with the chopped onion in a bowl. Add 1 cooked, mashed potato (large). Season everything well with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
