Description

These home kebab breads are perfect to fill with your favorite meats and vegetables. The recipe is simple and the result is delicious. I like to prepare these breads for a convivial meal with family or friends. The dough is soft and light, ideal to accompany a tasty filling. They can easily be frozen after baking to always have some on hand. Do not hesitate to vary the flours for a different taste. A real treat for homemade kebab lovers!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 500 g of flour
  • 25 g of baker's yeast
  • 30 cl of lukewarm water
  • 1 c. à c. of salt or fine salt

Dough preparation

Thermomix® Setting
3 min / Kneading speed

Put 500 g of flour, 25 g of baker's yeast, 30 cl of lukewarm water and 1 tsp of salt in the Thermomix bowl. Knead for 3 Min. / Kneading stage.

Shaping the balls

Divide the dough directly into 6 balls on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Let the balls rise for 20 Min. covered with a tea towel.

Flatten the balls

Flatten the balls without kneading them into 6 circles of 15 to 20 cm in diameter. Let rise again 30 Min. covered with a tea towel.

Baking the breads

Preheat the oven to 250°C. Bake the breads for 7 Min. at 250°C in a hot oven.

Cooling and preparation

Remove the breads from the oven and let them cool under a tea towel. Cut the bread on one side and hollow it out to fill it.
