Beschreibung

These small, decorated Gugelhupf cakes are a real eye-catcher at any party! I especially like to make them for children's birthdays because they are so colourful and fun. The dough is super easy and quick to prepare in the Thermomix®, and the cream cheese frosting gives the cakes a wonderfully creamy note. The decoration with chocolate chips, colourful chocolate lentils and gummy bears makes the whole thing a small work of art. You can of course vary the colours and shapes as you wish. An absolute favourite recipe that is always well received by young and old!

Zutaten (17 Zutaten)

  • 140 g unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 150 g white sugar
  • 2 Stück eggs
  • 1 TL vanilla extract
  • 210 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 TL baking powder
  • 1 Prise salt
  • 120 ml whole milk
  • 30 ml whole milk
  • 170 g cream cheese, cubed
  • 40 g unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 0.5 TL vanilla extract
  • 100 g confectioners' sugar
  • 24 Stück mini chocolate chips
  • 12 Stück red candy-coated milk chocolate pieces
  • 12 Stück gummi worms
  • 0.5 Tasse orange candy-coated milk chocolate pieces

Zubereitung (11 Schritte)

Preheat oven and prepare muffin tin

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Either grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners. Perform this step without Thermomix.

Mix butter and sugar

Add 140g soft, unsalted butter and 150g sugar to the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./speed 3 until creamy.

Add eggs and vanilla extract

20 Sek./Stufe 3

Add 2 eggs one after the other and stir in for 20 seconds/speed 3 each time. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and stir for another 10 seconds/speed 3.

Mix dry ingredients

Mix 210g flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 pinch of salt in a separate bowl. Perform this step without Thermomix.

Add flour mixture and milk

Alternately add the flour mixture and 120ml milk in small amounts to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 seconds/speed 3 each time until everything is well mixed.

Fill batter into muffin cups

Use a spoon to fill the batter into the prepared muffin cups, so that each cup is 3/4 full. Perform this step without Thermomix.

Bake cupcakes

Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes until the surface springs back slightly when touched. Perform this step without Thermomix.

Let cupcakes cool

Let the cupcakes cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then place on a wire rack and let cool completely (approx. 20 minutes). Perform this step without Thermomix.

Mix cream cheese and butter

Add 170g cream cheese (cubed) and 40g soft, unsalted butter to the mixing bowl and mix for 1 min./speed 4 until creamy.

Add icing sugar and vanilla extract

Thermomix® Einstellung
20 Sek./Stufe 3

Add 100g icing sugar in 2 tablespoon steps and stir in for 20 seconds/speed 3 each time. After half of the icing sugar, add 0.5 tsp vanilla extract and continue stirring.

Decorate cupcakes

Spread a layer of cream cheese frosting on each cooled cupcake. Decorate with 2 mini chocolate chips for the eyes, 1 red chocolate lentil for the nose and 1 gummy bear for the mouth. Place 2 rows of orange chocolate lentils as hair. Perform this step without Thermomix.
