This individual microwave sponge cake is the perfect solution for those sudden cravings for something sweet. It's ready in just 5 minutes! The recipe is very simple and you only need a few basic ingredients that you probably already have at home. It is ideal for a quick snack or an express breakfast. You can add a little icing sugar on top to give it a more special touch. Go ahead and try it, you will love it! Ingredients (7 ingredients)

1 piece egg
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp milk
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp yeast
to taste Icing Sugar

Preparation (4 steps)

Mix wet ingredients

10 sec/Speed 3

In a microwave-safe container, add 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of oil, 2 tablespoons of milk and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix well with the Thermomix for 10 seconds at speed 3.

Add dry ingredients

15 sec/Speed 4

To the previous mixture, incorporate 2 heaping tablespoons of flour and 1 teaspoon of yeast. Mix with the Thermomix for 15 seconds at speed 4 until a homogeneous texture is obtained.

Cook in the microwave

Pour the mixture into the container and cook in the microwave for 2 minutes at maximum power. (The power may vary depending on the microwave, so watch it).

Check cooking and serve

Remove from the microwave and prick with a toothpick to check if it is done. If it comes out clean, it's ready. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
