Description

This Mongolian venison mince pasta is a wonderfully warming dish for cold days. Tender minced game is combined with aromatic Asian spices. The preparation is uncomplicated and refined at the same time. Ideal as a main course for the whole family. The pasta is ready in about 35 minutes.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 500 g Venison or beef mince
  • 400 g Pasta of your choice
  • 3 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 3 Stück Spring onions
  • 200 ml Beef stock
  • 100 ml Hoisin sauce
  • 150 ml Soy sauce
  • Taste Mushrooms
  • Taste Chili flakes
  • 1 TL Starch
  • 1 TL Oil for frying
  • Sesame seeds

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop garlic

Place 3 garlic cloves in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7.

Fry the mince

Brown 500g venison or beef mince in a separate pan with 1 tsp oil for frying until crumbly. Briefly sauté 3 spring onions (white part) and the chopped garlic.

Prepare aromatic sauce

Add 200 ml beef stock, 100 ml Hoisin sauce and 150 ml soy sauce to the mixing bowl and heat for 5 min./100°C/speed 2.

Thicken sauce

Mix 1 heaped tsp of starch with a little water, add to the mixing bowl and simmer for 3 min./100°C/speed 2.

Cook the pasta

While the sauce is thickening, cook 400-500g pasta of your choice in plenty of salted water until al dente. The pasta should not be too soft as it will continue to cook in the sauce later.

Mix and refine

Transfer the cooked pasta directly from the pot to the pan with the mince and mix well with the sauce. Add some pasta water if necessary. Let the pasta soak for a moment.

Serve

Before serving, sprinkle the green part of the 3 spring onions and sesame seeds over the top.
