Description

This chicken in creamy almond sauce is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for a special meal or a weeknight dinner. The combination of the tenderness of the chicken with the richness of the almond and cream cheese sauce is simply delicious. I prepare it often because it is very easy to make with the Thermomix® and it always triumphs. The sauce is incredibly creamy and the almonds give it a very pleasant crunchy touch. In addition, it can be served with white rice or a fresh salad to complete the menu. Go ahead and try it, you will love it!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Boneless Chicken breasts
  • 300 gramos Peeled almonds
  • 2 tarros Cream cheese
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 3 hojas Bay leaf
  • 1 pinch Salt

Chicken cooking

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Place the 4 boneless chicken breasts in the Thermomix bowl. Add 3 bay leaves, a pinch of salt and 500 ml of water. Program 20 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Preparation of the almond cream

Thermomix® Setting
15 sec/Speed 8

Remove the cooked chicken from the bowl and set aside. Discard the bay leaf and the broth. In the same bowl, add the 300 grams of peeled almonds and crush 15 Sek./Stufe 8. Lower the remains from the walls with the spatula.

Mixing the cream

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Add the 2 jars of cream cheese and 100 ml of milk to the bowl. Mix 20 Sek./Stufe 4. If the cream is too thick, add a little more milk until you get the desired consistency.

Completion of the dish

5 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add the cooked chicken to the bowl with the almond cream. Program 5 Min./90°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1. Taste and adjust salt if necessary. Serve hot and decorate with flaked almonds to taste.
