Description

This cornflake crusted chicken is a family favorite! It's incredibly easy to prepare, making it perfect for busy weeknights.   • 6 piece skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes cereal
  • 1 tsp Italian-style seasoning
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted

Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Prepare Chicken Breasts

Rinse and trim the 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts. Pat dry with paper towels. This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Crush Cornflakes

Place 2 cups of cornflakes cereal into the Thermomix bowl. Crush for 5 Sec./Stufe 5.

Season Cornflake Crumbs

Pour the crushed cornflakes into a shallow plate or bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of Italian-style seasoning and season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix well. This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Melt Butter

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Place 6 tablespoons of butter into the Thermomix bowl. Melt for 2 Min./50°C/Stufe 2.

Coat Chicken

Generously coat both sides of each chicken breast with 2 cups of sour cream. Dip the sour cream coated chicken in the seasoned cornflake crumbs, pressing to adhere. This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Bake Chicken

Place coated chicken in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Drizzle with melted butter and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. This step does not involve the Thermomix.
