This recipe for roasted almonds is ideal for the Christmas season. With simple ingredients such as sugar, water, cinnamon, vanilla sugar and almonds, these delicious almonds can be prepared quickly in the Thermomix®. The recipe is easy and the preparation only takes 15 minutes. Perfect as a sweet snack or dessert for 2 servings.

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

110 g Sugar
100 ml Water
1 TL Cinnamon
1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
200 g natural almonds

Preparation (3 steps)

Prepare sugar water

Thermomix® Setting

8 min/212°F/Speed 2 212°F

Add 110 g sugar, 100 ml water and 1 tsp cinnamon to the mixing bowl and cook for 8 min./100°C/speed 2 without the measuring cup until the sugar has dissolved and bubbles form.

Add almonds

5-8 min/212°F/Speed 1 212°F

Add 1 pack vanilla sugar and 200 g natural almonds to the mixing bowl and continue cooking for 5-8 min./100°C/speed 1 without the measuring cup, stirring constantly, until the water has evaporated and a sugar coating forms around the almonds.
