Description

These dark chocolate oatmeal cookies are a real treat for breakfast or a snack! Oatmeal flour and oatmeal flakes give it a rustic texture and a slightly nutty flavor, which goes perfectly with the sweetness of the maple syrup and the intensity of the dark chocolate. Preparing them is very simple with the Thermomix®, and in less than an hour you will have fragrant and delicious cookies. They are perfect to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee, or to offer to friends for a moment of shared sweetness. Try them, they will win you over!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 75 g oatmeal flour
  • 75 g oat flakes
  • 70 g dark chocolate
  • 140 g maple syrup
  • 140 g peanut butter
  • 60 g water
  • 60 g cane sugar
  • 6 g baking soda
  • vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch fine salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Chopped chocolate

Insert 70 g of dark chocolate into the bowl and coarsely chop. Transfer the chopped chocolate to a bowl and set aside.

Blended wet ingredients

Insert 140 g of maple syrup, 140 g of peanut butter, 60 g of water, 60 g of cane sugar and vanilla extract as needed into the bowl. Mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Incorporated dry ingredients

Add 75 g of oatmeal flour, 75 g of oat flakes and 6 g of baking soda to the mixture in the bowl. Mix until a homogeneous dough is obtained.

Chocolate added and dough chilled

10 Sec./Speed 2/Linkslauf Reverse

Add the chopped dark chocolate and 1 pinch of fine salt to the mixture in the bowl. Mix briefly to distribute the chocolate. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Cookies formed and baked

Preheat the static oven to 180°C. Divide the dough into 10 balls and spread them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown and have a crispy crust.
