Description

These potato buckwheat patties are a hearty and vegetarian main course. The combination of potatoes, buckwheat and spices makes them a tasty meal. Preparation takes about 45 minutes and yields one serving. Ideal for a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 300 g Potatoes
  • 75 g Buckwheat
  • 1 TL Herb seasoning
  • 50 g Corn breadcrumbs
  • 1 TL Corn starch
  • 2 Stück Eggs
  • 1 Prise Nutmeg powder
  • 0.5 TL Onion powder
  • 0.5 TL Caraway
  • 1 TL Salt

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Peel 300 g potatoes and cut into 0.5 cm thick slices.

Cook buckwheat

Cook 75 g buckwheat in salted water for about 15 minutes.

Chop onions

Add 1-2 tsp herb seasoning, 50 g corn breadcrumbs, 1 tsp corn starch, 2 eggs, 1 pinch nutmeg, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp caraway and 1 tsp salt to the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec./speed 5.

Add potatoes and buckwheat

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Add the cooked potatoes and buckwheat to the mixing bowl and mix everything together for 20 sec./speed 4.

Let the dough rest

Knead the dough thoroughly with your hands and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Form and fry patties

Form patties from the dough and fry in a pan with oil until golden brown.
