Description

This creamy chicken with carrots and curry is a comforting and tasty dish, perfect for autumn evenings. I often prepare it for a quick weeknight dinner, as it is very easy to make with the Thermomix®. The carrots bring a touch of sweetness, while the curry warms the dish with its spicy aromas. The liquid cream makes it all smooth and delicious. This dish is ideal for the whole family and can be accompanied by basmati rice or steamed potatoes. A real delight!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Chicken scallop
  • 4 piece Carrot
  • 20 cl Liquid cream
  • 2 tsp Curry
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 150 ml Water
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation of the ingredients

Peel and cut the onion in half. Put the onion in the bowl and chop 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula. Add the olive oil and sauté 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Adding the chicken and carrots

Cut the chicken scallops into dice. Peel and cut the carrots into slices. Add the diced chicken to the bowl and cook 2 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Cooking with cream and curry

Thermomix® Setting
17 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add the sliced carrots, liquid cream, water and curry to the bowl. Salt and pepper. Cook 17 Min./100°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Check the seasoning and adjust if necessary. Serve hot.
