Description

This pork stew with vegetables is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for cooler days. The pork, tender and juicy, is slowly cooked with a variety of fresh vegetables and a touch of white wine that enhances all the aromas. I often prepare it in autumn and winter, and it's always a success! It is ideal to serve at a family meal or a special dinner. Also, it can be prepared in advance and reheated, which makes it a very practical option. Try it with a good bread to dip in the sauce, you will love it!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 kilogramo pork meat for stewing
  • 2 piece carrots
  • 1 piece onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 trozo green pepper
  • 300 mililitros white wine
  • 100 gramos fried tomato
  • 4 cucharadas soperas wheat flour
  • 1 chorro oil
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare the meat

Cut the kilogram of pork into pieces of similar size, remove excess fat and season with salt and pepper to taste. Reserve.

Flour the meat

On a plate, place the 4 tablespoons of wheat flour. Pass the pieces of meat through the flour, making sure they are well covered. Reserve.

Chop onion and garlic

Peel the onion and the 2 cloves of garlic. Insert into the Thermomix bowl and chop for 3 seconds at speed 5.

Sauté the meat, onion and garlic

Add a splash of oil to the Thermomix bowl. Incorporate the floured meat, chopped onion and garlic. Program 8 minutes, Varoma temperature, reverse rotation, spoon speed.

Add the vegetables

Cut the 2 carrots and the piece of green pepper into small pieces. Add to the Thermomix bowl along with the 100 grams of fried tomato. Program 5 minutes, Varoma temperature, reverse rotation, spoon speed.

Pour the 300 milliliters of white wine into the Thermomix bowl. Program 3 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1, without beaker to promote evaporation of the alcohol.

Cover the meat with water (approximately 500 ml). Program 60 minutes, 100°C, reverse rotation, spoon speed.

Check the tenderness of the meat. If necessary, add 30 more minutes at 100°C, reverse rotation, spoon speed. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
