Description
This American spiced soft cake is a comforting delight, perfect for accompanying a coffee or tea. I often prepare it for Sunday brunch, and it always disappears in the blink of an eye! Cinnamon and nutmeg give it a warm and inviting flavor, ideal for autumn days. The texture is incredibly soft, and the scent that fills the kitchen while baking is simply irresistible. A simple cake to make with the Thermomix®, which will delight young and old. Feel free to add a touch of orange zest for an even more gourmet variant!
Ingredients (10 ingredients)

1 pinch cinnamon

1 pinch nutmeg

1 tbsp Butter

1 tbsp Flour for the mold

1 tbsp vanilla essence extract

200 g sugar

3 piece eggs

1 packet baking powder

200 g butter
-
300 g flour
Preparation (3 steps)
Mixing the ingredients
In the Thermomix bowl, add 300 g of flour, 3 eggs, 200 g of sugar, 200 g of butter cut into pieces, 1 sachet of baking powder, a pinch of cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg and a few drops of vanilla essence extract. Mix everything for 20 Sec./Level 4. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes in the bowl.
Preparing the mold and baking
Preheat the oven to 180°C (th.6). Butter and flour a cake tin. Pour the preparation into the mold. Bake for 20 minutes.
Cooling
Unmold the cake and let it cool on a rack before serving.
