Description

These chicken tenders are a delightful twist on a classic. The paprika, salt, and pepper give the chicken a savory base, while the lemon glaze adds a sweet and tangy finish. I've been making this recipe for my family for years, and it's always a hit! The curry powder in the glaze gives it a unique flavor that complements the lemon perfectly. Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 0.5 tsp ground paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp pepper
  • 2 piece large eggs
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 3 piece large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup lemon juice
  • 1.5 tsp curry powder

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare Seasoning Mix

Thermomix® Setting

Add ½ teaspoon of ground paprika, ½ teaspoon of salt, and ¼ teaspoon of pepper to the mixing bowl. Mix for 5 Sec./Stufe 3.

Prepare Chicken

Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the 3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch pieces. Set aside.

Prepare Egg Wash

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4

Add 2 large eggs to the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 4.

Bread Chicken

Dip the seasoned chicken pieces in the beaten egg, then dredge in 1 cup of Italian seasoned bread crumbs. Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

Bake Chicken

Bake in the preheated oven at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 15 minutes, turning halfway through.

Prepare Lemon Sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/176°F/Speed 2 80

Add ½ cup of white sugar, ½ cup of lemon juice, and 1 ½ teaspoons of curry powder to the mixing bowl. Cook for 5 Min./80°C/Stufe 2.

Glaze and Bake

After chicken has cooked for 15 minutes, remove from the oven and drizzle lemon sauce over top. Return to the oven and bake for 5 more minutes.
