Description

This steamed chocolate cake is a moist dessert that is prepared without baking. Cocoa powder, condensed milk and vanilla essence create a rich taste. The cake is cooked in the steam area and is ideal for special occasions. Preparation takes about 53 minutes and yields 8 servings.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 100 g Cocoa powder
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 100 ml Vegetable oil
  • 50 ml Milk
  • 50 ml Condensed milk
  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 1 TL Vanilla essence
  • 150 g Flour
  • 0.25 TL Baking soda
  • 1 TL Baking powder

Preparation (6 steps)

Mix cocoa powder, sugar, oil, milk and condensed milk

Put 100 g cocoa powder, 100 g sugar, 100 ml vegetable oil, 50 ml milk and 50 ml condensed milk into the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 3.

Add eggs, vanilla essence, flour, baking soda and baking powder

Add 3 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla essence and mix for 10 sec./speed 4. Add 150 g flour, 1/4 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp baking powder and mix for 20 sec./speed 4.

Pour batter into mold

Use the EasyQuick to cut out a circle of baking paper and place it in the Softiera insert. Pour in the batter.

Pour water into pot and place Softiera insert inside

Pour approx. 150 ml water into the pot and place the Softiera insert inside. Attach EasyQuick with sealing ring 24 cm.

Steam cake

Heat pot on highest setting until steam window appears, switch to low setting and cook in the steam area for approx. 18 minutes.

Let cake cool

After the cooking time, remove the EasyQuick, remove the Softiera insert and let the cake cool slightly before turning it out.
