Description

Prepare creamy Russian ice cream Plombir with the Thermomix®. This simple dessert mainly consists of egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, milk and cream. Preparation takes about 30 minutes, the total time including freezing is 930 minutes. The recipe yields 8 servings and is perfect as a festive, cold treat for the whole family.

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 3 Stück Egg yolks
  • 130 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 180 g Milk
  • 400 g Cream

Preparation (8 steps)

Mix egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar and milk

30 sec/Speed 3

Put egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar and milk in the mixing bowl and mix for 30 sec./speed 3. Then cook for 7 min./90°C/speed 2. Transfer and let cool.

Prepare mixing bowl

Rinse and dry the mixing bowl.

Whip cream

Thermomix® Setting
Speed 3

Insert the butterfly whisk. Put cream in the mixing bowl and whip without time setting/speed 3 until the desired firmness of the cream is reached.

Add egg-sugar-milk cream

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/Speed 1

Set the Thermomix to 1 min./speed 1 and add the egg-sugar-milk cream through the lid opening.

Mix mixture

1 min/Speed 1

Mix everything well with the spatula and again 1 min./speed 1.

Freeze

Pour the mixture into a mold, close and freeze for about 12 hours.

Chop frozen mixture

Thermomix® Setting
25 sec/Speed 5

Cut the frozen mixture into cubes, place in the mixing bowl and chop for 25 sec./speed 5.

Freeze again

Pour the mixture back into the mold and freeze for at least 2 hours.
